Ahlul Bayt News Agency, German archaeologists said that they have found 82 pieces of Islamic coins dating back to 1200 years.
An archeological mission that carried out excavations in the city of Anklam in the German province of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern claimed that some coins made of pure silver were minted in the 180th Hijri year.
The find is a powerful testimony of the depth of the trade and cultural relations which existed between the Islamic world and Germany, the mission explained.End item/ 159
